LOS ANGELES – The Production Music Association (PMA), which is comprised of over 360 member companies, has introduced a Standardized Metadata Format for use by production music libraries. In conjunction with U.S. Performing Rights organizations, the PMA (www.pmamusic.com) has compiled a standard set of guidelines designed to benefit production music libraries of all sizes. The effort is geared at helping publishers and composers get paid more accurately and in a more timely manner.
