Sony, JVC, Flanders Scientific, Cine-tal and TV Logic all provided monitors for the event, and AlphaDogs provided a room with a neutral gray backdrop, properly illuminated to SMPTE specifications. This created a well-suited environment for comparing the abilities of the different monitors.

DALLAS – Southern Methodist University (SMU) is using high definition JVC camcorders to teach students in its Meadows School of the Arts Cinema-Television Division the fundamentals of HD video production. The school acquired 12 JVC GY-HM100 camcorders, along with three JVC GY-HM700 ProHD cameras last year and has already incorporated them into courses. During this year’s Spring semester, more than 100 students will use the units to develop their cinematic and television production skills.

Punisher: War Zone is a 2008 American comic book action film directed by Lexi Alexander; based on the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante/anti-hero the Punisher.

The film is a reboot which follows the original telling of Frank Castle’s war on crime and corruption rather than a sequel to 2004’s The Punisher,[4] and is the first film to be produced under the Marvel Studios and Marvel Knights production banner, which focuses on films for mature audiences.

Irish actor Ray Stevenson replaces Thomas Jane as Frank Castle. In the film, Castle wages a one-man war against a horribly disfigured mob boss known as Jigsaw (Dominic West).
